About RGB and OKLCH
RGB lists red, green, and blue as numbers from 0 to 255, matching how screens mix light. It's the format most APIs, canvas code, and design tools expect, and rgba() adds an opacity value from 0 to 1.
OKLCH is the perceptual color space from CSS Color 4 — lightness, chroma, and hue that track how colors actually look. Equal lightness values appear equally bright, which makes it the best base for design systems and generated palettes. Every modern browser supports it.
For example, rgb(124, 58, 237) in RGB is oklch(0.541 0.247 293) in OKLCH. Paste your own value above — conversion is instant, runs entirely in your browser, and carries alpha through when your color has one.
